God gave us some beautiful weather for the 4th of July weekend and some beautiful people to spend it with. Our son got back to the United States from a deployment in South Korea and was in Ohio to spend the holiday with us. ❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏
We threw him a “Welcome Home” party. We had 75 friends and family join us and had a great time visiting, eating, playing music and games. I even played some volleyball. I loved it!!!
I had said in a previous post that we were finishing up the Full Armor of God Bible lessons and making each piece of Armor. The grand babies had a blast. The finished project was adorable as you can see. The boys loved the swords the best and Memaw was smart in saving that piece to make last so they could take it home. 😂 Papaw encouraged them to use them.
It was so fun to teach and make this Armor. I pray that these grand babies will never forget to use it. This world is tough but with Christ we can conquer anything. 🙏🙌🏼
Thanks to all who have prayed for the Lake Children’s ministry. We had 17 on our first night and are having a blast teaching these little ones the greatest story ever told.
