What a blessing it was for Phil and I to pull our Fifth Wheel down to Nashville to stay a few days.
We stayed at the KOA within a mile of the Opryland Hotel and the Grand Ole Opry. It was so much fun.
Anytime we get time together we enjoy it so much. Whether it’s sitting in the camper on a rainy day playing games or taking a bike ride across the country side and around a lake we find “Joy in the Journey.”
There was so much to do in this area.
The first evening we enjoyed a dinner at Nashville Palace with some great food and entertainment.

The next day we were able to explore Gaylord Opryland Hotel where we enjoyed a great Mexican Lunch amongst the lovely water falls and trees. We walked the pathways. Sat behind the falls and took it all in. We also enjoyed a scrumptious frappe while sitting and enjoying the scenery. I can’t imagine how beautiful heaven is gonna be… can you?

That evening we enjoyed going to the Grand Ole Opry. We enjoyed this more than we even expected to. It was great. We saw Riders in the Sky, The Castellows, The Oak Ridge Boys, Connie Smith, John Conlee, Mike Rodgers & Katy Nichole.

On Sunday we went downtown Nashville. Nashville is known for its hot chicken so we had a sample of both Princes and Hattie Bs. The atmosphere at Hattie Bs and the food was my favorite. Then we took tour of the stars homes and ate at Jason Aldean’s restaurant. The food was amazing.

On Monday we took at trip to Hendersonville to Maple Motors. This is a car lot where they sell hot rod cars. Phil and I watch Maple motors in your tube every Monday night. Phil wanted about 3 of these cars but we came home with none. If money wasn’t a problem we would have boughten at least 1.

We then went to one of my favorite places and ate “Cheddars” and got dessert too. So we had to go for a bike ride to burn some of those calories up. The bike trails were awesome we road our E-bikes for almost 3 hours. We were within 8 feet of a train that went by. God’s Beauty is mind blowing…

We went back to Nashville again to enjoy some of the guitar stores and some more awesome food.

When we sat down for coffee and a sweet they started playing “How Great Thou Art” by Alan Jackson. You will have to see the video. 👇👇👇Then we looked on our box from Five Daughters Bakery and it had a Bible Verse on it. Jesus is everywhere you know that? Even with a country couple from a small town in Ohio in the middle of a big town of Nashville.
We found time to do a little antiquing and shopping. We spent some time in the hot tub, some more eating and MORE time just holding hands and enjoying one another’s company. Of all that we did I will say that I loved that last part the most.

I am so blessed to spend more days with this sweet man. I couldn’t be happier for who God chose for me…
I love him bunches but I love God even more!!!

I am definitely…
Blessed Beyond Measures,
Cindy
