It’s Harvest Time

It’s Harvest time in our part of the world. The fields are beautiful with tall stalks of corn and the farmers are preparing to get the crops in before winter. What they sowed this spring, they will reap in the near future.

The weather went from warm to cool here in the Ohio valley. I love the feeling of fall. Yesterday while cleaning the house it was raining. Rain + cooler temps =that feeling in the air at our house… THE CHRISTMAS FEELING. When we had the Christmas farm we were hanging lights and listening to Christmas music in September. That feeling will never get out of my bones and I hope it never does. I am actually seeing this tradition carried on by my children to my grand babies. Daddy would be proud. ❤️🎄

I love Christmas but fall and Thanksgiving are special to me too. Today I wanted to share my fall decorations.

Our mailbox. The flower box makes it nice for putting flowers in for the season.
Welcome to our home
I love flags with mums. Notice the yellow ribbon that has been flying since Eli left for the Army and will be there until he returns
May all who enter be blessed!!!
Most Beautiful fern I have ever had. Thanks Mom ❤️
As for me and my house WE will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15
The pumpkin says it all…BLESSED 🙌
If you look close you can see the Jack O Lanterns lit up 🎃

As I think of Harvest time I think of the people in our area that need to be harvested for Christ. We have been having Bible study at our home with our families on Wednesday evenings. I have been doing a lesson for the children first then the adults gather for a study called “Living the Christian Life.” A few Wednesday evenings ago the weather was beautiful so we gathered outside. We had several of the people from our community stop by. We are definitely not ashamed of Jesus and people around us know it. May we not forget someone is ALWAYS watching our lives.

Don’t give up….

Keep smiling…

Keep spreading the word …

Keep singing …

Keep praying …

Keep praising…

And keep serving.

I am…

Blessed Beyond Measures,

Cindy
