The Storm

Just wanted to send a blog to let you all know how we are coping with Covid-19. 😷

Our lives have changed as I am sure yours has the past month or so. I turned “50” and everything went crazy. The same week of my birthday was when everything with Covid-19 started snowballing. Schools started cancelling, businesses started shutting down, places were advised to not have more than 10 people and churches were cancelling. Times like these we have never seen.

Happy Easter 🐣🐰. We celebrated the Resurrection of our Savior today, but from our home βœοΈπŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Phil had a surgery on March 12 and was off work when all of the Coronavirus started. The week he was suppose to go back to work he was offered a voluntary Lay-off for a few months. This was an answer to prayer for us since Phil’s immune system is so low. God works like that you know. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Our family have been doing everything we can to keep him safe. He has been staying home 99% of the time. He will venture out for a doctor appointment or for a ride in the car.

🐣🐰We have seen our children and have dropped off Easter baskets and other things but have visited outside and at a social distance. We are making the best of it and even got to watch them open their Easter Baskets and hunt Easter eggs from a distance. Not being able to hold and hug them has been rough. 😒

Our children have made us many snacks and dropped off which has been such a blessing.

We have had some beautiful days so we have taken golf cart rides, walks and went fishing. We have also been studying Gods word together. ✝️

Good thing Phil and I get along because we sure have spent a lot of time together lately.

❀️Actually I couldn’t think of anyone I would rather be cooped up with.

He is still the love of my life.

Social media has been a blessing to us lately especially since we can’t attend church. We have been doing what we can to help and reach others. His word still lives on. We have watched preaching and many uplifting things. We have also sang songs from the comfort of our home and shared with our friends and family. There are many ways we can be used to reach others. We just have to be willing. πŸ’—πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

We still trust in the ONE who died for us and rose again. The one who knew when this virus would hit our nation and knows when it will end. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»

He just wants us to crawl up in his arms and rest for a while and that’s exactly what I have been doing.

He’s got this and I will praise him and try to help others in the midst of the worst storm our country has ever seen.

We will get thru this!!!

Stay safe and Healthy.

I am…

Blessed Beyond Measures,

Cindy
