I haven’t posted in a good while. We have been doing a lot of singing and spoiling. Singing for Jesus &Spoiling those grand babies. 🙌🏼🤗
We have been blessed this week to be in 2 amazing services in which the spirit of the Lord was with us. What an honor to feel the sweet presence of God. Last night we attended a revival service in which a great friend of ours was preaching. He said while we are discouraged by inviting people to come to God the true shepherd continues to look for the lost sheep. If he only had 2 sheep you could understand him leaving 1 to find the others. But he had 99 safe in the fold and still left to find that 1 who has strayed. I am so glad he came and found me.
My bible reading this morning also hit a chord in my heart. “God teaches us lessons in the storms we could never learn in the sunshine.” I love a beautiful sunny day but if it never rained the flowers wouldn’t grow.
Storms are a part of life that come and go. One thing we can always do is learn through the storm. Even tho at times it feels the waves against the ship are going to throw us overboard, He is the lighthouse in the shaky, trying times of our life.
While we are worried and troubled he is fast asleep in the ship waiting for us to ask him to help us. One of my favorite songs is sung by “The Bowling Family”. I have posted it below. I hope it blesses you as it has me.
