Grand-Babies Play Room

I hope you all are doing great. It has been a while since I have made a blog post. I have been busy. We got to welcome our new granddaughter into this world on Tuesday August 20,2019 at 10:59 am. She is beautiful just like her big sister and brother. It always amazes me that God can create something so little and perfect.

I told you all months ago I was redoing our upstairs playroom for the babies. Between all the celebrations of showers, weddings and birth of babies I haven’t gotten it completely finished. We made great progress in the month of June but have slowed down on getting much done after that. Most days when the grand-babies are over we have been staying outside. They love riding their bikes and playing in the water table or pool.

I have a few pictures of what we have done thus far.

We decided on a Nautical theme for the playroom. The walls were gray so we painted them white, nautical blue and striped one wall. Phil also painted the cabinet.

I purchased some shelves and baskets from IKEA. This was perfect for organizing and books. (I still need to make my cushion for the sitting area under the window)

The kitchen set we had was green and the grill was burgundy. I saw on Pinterest that you can paint little tikes furniture. Sooo I did…

The colors look great with the walls. I have more plans for this room including a dress up area for the girls. I hope to get the finishing touches on soon. We will be spending a lot of time in this room as the weather starts to cool.

I continue to cling close to Christ and thank him daily for his blessings. He is the best choice I have ever made in this life (my sweet husband and children are second).

I am…

Blessed Beyond Measures,

Cindy
