As I sit here this evening my find reflects back to the wonderful day I had. As I prepare for the wedding of our youngest son next Saturday I took a break from the busy activities and spent a few hours with my mom and sisters.
We made a trip to Kentucky to spend some time with my sister. On our way home we stopped at a bakery that I have always wanted to visit. It is located in Morehead and is called Root-A-Bakers. 
This beautiful little White House is so charming. 
The desserts we got were absolutely delicious.
Something I loved the most was the New Testament bible that was placed on every table with a tablet of paper to leave a note for others. οΏΌ
Not to mention the sweet people I got to enjoy it with. π
One of my sisters has had a trial placed upon her that has weighed heavy on all of our hearts. I have been mentally worn down from it as well as my sweet mom and sisters. But what do you do when things like this throw your life into a complete turmoil. You cling closer to each other and Christ and try to find Joy in the Journey.
Although this journey has been one of the hardest trials our family has ever faced I know in my heart that God has it in his control but have found it hard to be patient with what he is doing. It’s also hard to not harbor ill feelings against those who have allowed Satan to use them which started the trial. I want to show Christ’s love and I want this trial over so I can move on to the Joy. But he knows what is best for us. We will continue to pray, cling to Christ and trust in him. ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
At times in this life we are encouraged to ask more pray warriors to join us in praying. I have done this today. Will you join me and my family in storming the throne for an end to this trial. I would love to see God move on this, THIS WEEK!!!
There is Peace in the times of trouble. There is Peace in the midst of the storm. There is Peace though the world be raging. In the shelter of his arms.
Tonight as the trial is still raging I settle down for the night thanking God for my wonderful family, friends, health and peace. Peace in Jesus In the midst of our storm.

“God will make this trial a blessing” I remember singing that at Hickory Ridge during some trial we were going through. I don’t remember what it was now, lol. I ran across the soundtrack several months ago when it Bill and I were going through tough times and started singing it around here. God will surely bless your family and your sister when this trial ends. Love you all!!
