Shower Time

This summer has been full of wonderful events for our family. Our youngest son is getting married 3 weeks from today and our oldest daughter will be having us another grand baby in 5 weeks.

As most of you all know I absolutely love weddings. I am also a Pinterest lover. I very much enjoy decorating for bridal showers, weddings or themed parties.

Last Saturday we had a bridal shower for our future daughter-in-law, Clarissa Ann. (Claire). She went to Paris with a school trip last year and loved it. The girls and I decided to make her bridal shower

“A PARIS THEME & A DIAMOND RING.”

It was such a joy to work on this and see it all come together. I had a lot of ideas and the girls (Maid of Honor & Bridesmaids) as well as Claire’s mom came together to make it happen.

My daughter-in-law Jaycee tackles the balloon garland and it turned out awesome. It took around 60 balloons to make this garland and some fishing line. Add a few flowers and greenery and you get a beautiful addition to any party. I am sure I will be making these again in the near future. We finished the window off with ferns, painted mason jars with flowers and a sign that says “No longer two but one.”

The windows were topped with valances made with white cardboard and black duct tape. Add more white painted mason jars, ferns and a few flowers and Ooh La La. These really gave the room the Paris feel. I love how these turned out.

To me when you add flowers, ferns, pearls lights or candles you get= LOVELY

Our food menu consisted of homemade Chicken Salad or Ham and Cheese on Croissants. Homemade Pimento Cheese with wheat crackers. Chips. Vegetables, peanut butter on mini spoons, Individual Mac & Cheese bowls and grapes. Desserts consisted of individual strawberry shortcakes or banana puddings, white chocolate dipped Oreos and mini donut Rings. The drinks were bottled waters that said from “Miss to Mrs,” Punch and Sweet Tea.

We enjoyed a wonderful day to celebrate a new addition to our wonderful family. Claire is a sweet girl and fits in well with our family.

So this week I am preparing for another shower. A baby shower for my daughter. I love these celebrations and enjoy stalking Pinterest and trying my hand at new things to make people pleased with the results on their special day.

I would love to see pictures of some celebrations you have helped with. Just leave some pictures in the comments and tell us about it. None of us are professional. I have read a saying that says. “Do what you Love.” I definitely try to do that.

💗 Find Joy in the journey! 💗

I am,

Blessed Beyond Measures,

Cindy
