Good evening,
As most of you know I recently celebrated a birthday. I won’t tell you how old I am but I am starting to feel it. My children and husband were so sweet to surprise me with an evening of games and food. I love time with my family and really love when they do the cooking. This was so sweet of them. I did miss Elijah being with us but his sweet fiancé Claire was able to come. Birthdays are extra special at my age when you get to spend it with those you love. Add red velvet cake and it is amazing!!!
One thing I don’t ever want to take for granted is the privilege of prayer. We have seen God answer so many prayers for us from little things to big things. One prayer I am so thankful he answered for me years ago was a wonderful husband. I saw this picture a few weeks ago and it is so true.
Everything in our life works better when we move closer to Christ. We heal from hurt, we show more love and he helps us daily to forgive others.
Our marriage is a rarity. We often say how we wish others could have a wonderful marriage like we have. We have grown closer to Christ and closer together. We try to do little things for each other just to let them know we are thinking of them. One day last week I got up for work and found this note that Phil left me by my coffee cup.
It brought such a smile to my face. Little things make a difference.
Whether your marriage, your work place or your church…get closer to God and the things that are important to you will bring on a whole new meaning. We need to put Christ first in everything and everything will fall into place.
Thanks so much for taking a few minutes of your day to spend with me.
I am…
Blessed Beyond Measures,
Cindy
