What a wonderful time we had in the Smoky Mountains. The weather was picture perfect. In fact, Phil got quite a sunburn. There were so many hot rod cars to look at and he loved every minute of it. We got a lot of walking in, enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way & the scrumptious peanut butter cup sundae that we shared.
Our room had a balcony that overlooked the river and was the perfect place to sip coffee and read my Bible every morning. A great way to start each day!
On Friday evening we enjoyed some time at “The Island.” The rocking chairs were comfortable and the water fountain was so relaxing.
On Saturday we spent the day at Dollywood. The roller coasters are amazing there and we rode all of them with the kiddos. I survived and actually enjoyed it. I got to shop a little as well.
The memories we made are priceless. I am thankful for the many blessings he has given me & the people God has placed in my life that make my life so enjoyable.
