My Blessings Abound

Good evening,

It has been absolutely beautiful in our neck of the woods this week.   The coolness has been so refreshing in the mornings when I leave for work.  By mid afternoon the sun has come out and the temperatures have been my favorite.  I love it when you can enjoy the sunshine and not sweat like crazy, although I have been having some hot flashes lately :/.  I sure wish Eve wouldn’t have taken the first bite of that apple because us women have suffered every since.  Being a woman has a few good perks but this isn’t one of them.  Being a mother is a wonderful blessing though.

Today I am going to introduce you to our oldest child.  Our beautiful, loving, talented daughter Brittany.  She has been a true blessing and a great help to us.  She graduated from Shawne State University with a degree in radiology.  She went on to get her Bachelors and is contemplated her Masters Degree.  She works for Mercy Hospital and is a Clinical Intructor for Shawnee.  She has recently decided to do some baking on the side and doing an online business called “Simply Sweet Bakery.”  I am sure in the future I will be showing you some of her sweet treats.

She is married to a sweet young man named Brandon whom we think the world of.  They have 2 adorable babies. Miss Addelynn Grayce is 3 1/2 years old and a beautiful little woman with a wonderful personality.  Mister Beckett Lee is a handsome 13 month old young man with an adorable smile.

Brittany has a magnificent voice and can play the piano and mandolin.   They live close to us and sometimes attend our church so we get to see them often and sing praises together as a family.

I sure thank God everyday for the way he has blessed our wonderful family.  I love the quote that  says: A family that prays together, stays together.  At times in this life we are separated but we are striving to be ready to go when our name is called.  We have a wonderful family blessed by God and we enjoy the time spent together.

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to learn about my family.  You have met all 3 of our children and our 4 grandchildren.  More reasons to understand why…
