Shine His Light

🕯Good Morning,

🕯This morning I wanted to share a few Bible scriptures that I feel is relevant for the days in which we live.  The world that was created by God remains BEAUTIFUL as when he created it but the people and sin in the world have try to corrupt it.  We need to be a positive light to those around us in these dark times.

🕯Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

🕯Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

🕯Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
🕯Matthew 5:14‭-‬16 KJV

🕯We are the ones people are watching to see how our light for Christ is shining.  When we say we are a “Christian” we become a life that others watch closely to see if we are living up to God’s holy word.  I will admit that at times my light is really shining and at other times it is still lit; but flickering.  We all go through these times when the storms of life have knocked us down a bit.  Our hope remains in Christ and our light hasn’t gone out but we may not be smiling and as cheerful as usual.  It’s in these times that we choose how we are gonna handle things.  That’s our choice.  Is your glass half full or half empty?

🕯 A song that I am sure you learned as a child and have never forgotten.  It has very important words that can speak to our hearts at any age.

🕯Don’t hide it under a bushel, Let is Shine.

🕯Let it Shine all over the world 🌎 to friends, family, co-workers.

🕯Don’t let Satan blow it out (that’s a big one)  Satan has a lot of hard blows thrown at us thru death, sickness, finances, family and work situations but we need to cling close to Christ and never let our light be put out by his lies and schemes.

🕯As I start back to school this week may I take these words and use them to shine a light to students, teachers, friends and anyone I come in contact with.

🙏We are more than conquerors through CHRIST!!!
