He ALWAYS Provides

Good morning,

It’s me again.  The one who is totally blessed by God.  I am outside reading my bible as I write this, thinking on Christ, watching his beauty and praying that he gives me something to write on my blog today.  Then something wonderful happened.  I looked up from my reading and it stood in front of me.

The beautiful birds with such wondrous harmony that filled my ears with music and placed a big smile on my face had come for breakfast; just as I had.  Of course it made me think of the verses in his word that says he will provide.   Hasn’t he always provided???  Shelter, food, love, money, friendships, hugs, smiles, kind words from others, PEACE, COMFORT, JOY? I could go on and on because everyday I (yes I) need something different from God and he always supplies.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Early in our marriage I remember taking a calculator to the store with me to get our groceries.  One week we had $27.00 in our account.  We didn’t get all the best things on the shelf but we didn’t starve.  God supplied.  When our marriage went thru a rough time we didn’t divorced, God healed our love for each other and we survived.  28 years later and here we are with one of the most awesome marriages ever.  Holding hands, working together for Christ and thanking him that HE restores and renews.

We have physical struggles in our bodies and have rough times that get us down but he has supplied health to work full time jobs and continue working for his kingdom.

We have been hit with death that has broken our hearts on many occasions but God still gives a comfort and a assurance that this world is not our home and we need to be prepared for the one to come.

We have seen joy.  Joy at the births of our 3 beautiful children.  Joy when they were saved. Joy at the creek bank when Phil helped baptize them.  Joy at the weddings of 2 of our children when they said “I Do” to the love of their lives.  Joy with the arrival of all of our grand babies as they were born into our family.  We continue to see joy daily in our children,  their families and an awesome God.

Today as you walk, work, wait.  Think on the good things.  Think on how Christ has always provided for you. Give him thanks for what he is doing in your life.  Seek him first and he will provide all you need.

Thanks so much for taking a few minutes from your day to share with me.

Blessed Beyond Measures,
