Good afternoon,
Today was a snow day for me which means I was off work. That’s one of the things I love about my job. Since I was off work Phil decided to take off work too and spend the day with me. I am saying this was an early birthday present and one that I truly enjoyed. The time I spend with my family mean way more to me than material things.
We started off the day with lunch at the Hofbräuhaus in Newport. They serve German food and it was awesome.
This was the Newport Sampler which includes pretzels and cheese, deep fried pickles, potato cakes and sauerkraut balls.
We then went to the Cincinnati Museum and saw the “Egypt” exhibit and the IMAX movie “Mummies.” This explained how the Pharaohs were worshiped and even looked at as gods and it showed how they can investigate the tombs of many mummies to find out who they are.
I am so thankful the God I serve is risen and not buried in a tomb somewhere. He is surely alive and lives in me. 🙌🏼
We finished the afternoon off with a Black Cherry Ice Cream & Brownie Sundae from “Graeters” in Mareimont. It was amazing!!!
🎉Tonight the girls are coming over to work on some things for my oldest granddaughters birthday party tomorrow. (I can’t believe she will be 5 years old.)
So I will top the evening off with some Love from my grand babies.
All of this = A Blessed Day Indeed!!!
I am…
Blessed Beyond Measures,
Cindy
