Shake It Off!

Good evening,

It seems like the month of January went by so fast.   I think I lost a couple of weeks.  This week has been a much better week for me.  After my surgery I have had a few days that weren’t so good.   Everyday I am feeling better and things are almost back to 100%. Thanks so much for all the prayers, the texts and the kind words.   I am on my way back up.   It seems like last year every time I turned around the devil was throwing something else physical at me to knock me down.

I was listening to a preacher and he was telling the story about when Paul was  ship wrecked and finally came to an island and they were wet from the ship wreck.  The natives were there and had built a small fire to warm up.  Paul stooped down to throw a bundle of sticks on the fire.  A poisonous viper came out of the fire and bit him.    The people thought he got bit because he was a bad person and would die.  But you know what Paul did?  He just shook it off.

Anytime you light a fire for God the devil will be there to try and stop it.  He has been trailing Phil and I a lot.  A few weeks ago I told the devil I would still serve the Lord if my health wasn’t restored and you know what that holds true today.    God has been way to good to me, to let a few things that cause me discomfort cause me to turn my back on him.  I’ve come way to far to turn back now.  I plan to go all the way with Jesus!!!

We finally got some things put up on our living room walls.   I wanted to show you the before and after pictures.  We chose a different color and I love it!!!  I think the light gray makes the room look brighter and cleaner.  What do you think?
