It’s A New Year

Good afternoon,

The weather is down right cold in the Ohio valley.  I can usually tolerate it pretty good but this morning it was COLD!  Brrr  I am gonna have to purchase me some long johns if this keeps up and I haven’t worn long johns since I was a child.

It’s a New Year. A time to reflect on last year and make plans for the upcoming year.  I haven’t made a lot of New Years Resolutions but do plan to draw closer to Christ and spend quality time with my family. I also want to try and make smarter choices with the foods I eat.    Last year I made a resolution that I actually kept.  It has since become a habit and I do it without thinking about it.  Everytime I brush my teeth I floss and use mouth wash.  I have had a lot of teeth trouble since my pregnancies and wish I would have started this habit years ago.

Have you made any New Years resolutions?

I would love to hear yours.

If you haven’t downloaded a bible app on your phone I highly recommend it.  Doing this has allowed me to have access to my bible at all times.  I prefer the KJV but many Bible apps allow you to choose different versions.  I also like to do different daily readings that are pertinent to my current situations.  You can set up reminders so you can stay on track.  Below is the app I use the most and it is free.

As I write this post I can’t help but think of many people we know who have started their year off grieving over the loss of a loved one. Times like these let me know that I am truly blessed.

I pray you have a wonderful year blessed by God.

I am…

Blessed Beyond Measures,

Cindy
