Good Evening,
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and got some things your heart was desiring. My family spoils me every year and I was blessed with some awesome gifts. The most important gift I received was their presence around our home along with the presence of the “newborn King.”
We gathered together several times to laugh, eat and make lots of memories. Reading the Christmas story, singing Happy Birthday to Jesus and singing carols around the piano was a delight to my soul, not to mention the peace that is felt with the lights twinkling as we did some relaxing in the evenings. All of these things bring JOY like none other & comfort to my soul.

It is now time to focus on the New Year and make some changes to be a better Christian, wife, mom, Memaw and friend. I know there are lots of areas I need improvement in so I will take one step at a time. Sometimes they are slow steps because those fast steps have gotten me into trouble. The guidance of Christ is what I need on a daily basis. For I have read that faith is taking another step even if you can’t see what’s at the top….well I know what’s at the top and I want to make it…therefore I continue to climb. It’s not about who gets there faster or who arrives first for in Heaven it is one long day. So my encouragement to you today is to keep climbing. It’s hard sometimes and the steps are tiring but the top will be totally worth it!!!!
