Good evening,
I have had a very stressful week but not one that God can’t get me through. I am so thankful to have someone that walks with me. When we don’t know what to do and troubles overcome us he will step in and give us a peace that calms the storms around and let us know its all in his control. If you need Peace in your life he is someone I can recommend. He has never left me and never will if I hold tight to him.
What a Blessing!!!
The time of year has come and we are kicking of the holiday season in full force. I told Phil this week that I sure am thankful that he understands my love for Christmas and sharing the Joy of the baby boy born in Bethlehem. I think he loves it as much as I do. He was raised by a mom that has a love for Christmas like I do. (Thanks Diana for raising him that way. :)) God knew a long time ago that I would need a man like him and started preparing him to be the perfect match for me. (Thank you God for creating him for me!!!)
We are headed north this weekend to go to some Christmas places we have never been before. I am beyond excited. We left after work this evening and have already enjoyed our time together. Sometimes with the hustle and bustle of life we don’t have time to spend with each other. At our age in the evenings when we finally sit down together we are usually dosing. I know I can’t believe it either, it snuck right up on me. We went from vibrant young people who could stay up til 2 am playing cards and laughing to grandparents who cant wait to get in our chairs at night and can’t hardly stay awake past 9 pm. Wow that came fast!!!!
For supper we stopped at “Cracker Barrel”. I love the country decor and country cooking not to mention the shopping. The fireplace was lit and we enjoyed a wonderful meal together.
I will try and post some pictures of our little weekend away so maybe you can get in the Christmas spirit too. The birth of Jesus is what started it all. Had it not been for the baby we would be lost without a savior.
Get you a warm cup of cocoa and a good Christmas movie and get ready for a wonderful season of love. It’s not all about gifts. It’s all about LOVE. Spend time with the ones you love and make memories. WONDERFUL Memories. Life goes fast so try and enjoy the ride. Look for your blessings and you will find them!!!
We are moving on up 71 North with the heat on, Christmas music playing and a sweet mans hand in mine.
I am…
Blessed Beyond Measures,
Cindy
