Good morning,
The weather took a quick dive down to the cool side Friday and we had to grab our jackets. The feel of fall is in the air. A trip to the pumpkin patch is in the near future. I love to decorate for fall.
We have done a lot of celebrating lately. The last week of August and first week of September are busy times for us with lots of birthdays and our Anniversary!!!
Yesterday Phil and I celebrated 29 years of marriage. I can honestly say I love him more today than 29 years ago. I never realized how much deeper a love can grow for someone. God has truly allowed us to overlook the imperfections we both have and focus on the good. It has been a true blessing to have someone by my side who loves the Lord as much as I do. We have both been given talents that we use together to serve our maker. I have heard the saying many times…”A family that prays together, stays together” and we have found that to be true. We now have 3 beautiful children who sing and play music for the Lord as well. All of these blessings come from above.
Yesterday we were taken out to Lunch for our Anniversary by Brittany & Brandon. Elijah, Addelynn and Beckett were there as well. It was a wonderful lunch. Afterwards they came to spend the afternoon with us. We enjoyed a picnic lunch with the babies and a golf cart ride. It’s the little things that make life soooo sweet.
Today we are spending the day together for our Anniversary. Not sure what we will do or where we will go but spending time together with be great not to mention that the weather is absolutely marvelous and I brought along some of our letters we wrote to each other nearly 30 years ago so we can read some. Memories are a blessing!
