🌸It’s Monday and time to get back to work. It was very hard for me to get moving today. I think I over do it on the weekends and feel the repercussions on Mondays. I am sure I am the only one who does this. 😳
🌸We had a wonderful weekend with our family that was completed by our family singing and Phil preaching at a church in Manchester yesterday. We had 2 uplifting services. I love it when our family is able to go out and spread the word. What a privilege!
🌸Phil and I went boat shopping on Saturday. After several hours I settled on a Banana Split. It was much cheaper and tasted awesome. Not all the family will be able to enjoy it but I figured the grandkids will love to play with it.
🌸As some of you know I work as a nurse at school and thru Ohio Medicaid so in the summer I work part-time. I love working part time. It gives me time to enjoy things around the house and time to visit more with my family. I have taken a lot of time and sat on my back porch as well. In the mornings I love to sit there to read Gods word and enjoy the birds singing. It’s a wonderful place to close your eyes and give thanks to the one who created it all.
~He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
~By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
~He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
~Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
(Psalms 33:5-8 KJV)
🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 ~~~I wanted to throw in a quick tip~~~
I have been getting ferns for my porch for years. I love the look of them especially when I put an American flag with them. In the past, every time I watered them the water seemed to go straight thru and the edges of the fern would become brown and die. I read an idea on Pinterest and thought I would give it a try. So far it has worked great so I wanted to share it. It said to fill a bucket with water and set your fern in it and let it soak up the water overnight. I bought 2 buckets and have been letting my ferns soak overnight 2 times per week. They are looking amazing. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.
If you like it share it.
Keeping you in my prayers.
