They Are Watching Us

Good morning,

It’s a cold, snowy day here in Ohio and better yet a “snow day” for many who work for the schools. I got to sleep in a little, study some of God’s word and listen to one of my favorite daily devotions on Facebook “Max Lucado.” He has a daily devotion that is usually around 8 minutes with wonderful teachings. Look him up and see if you like it.

In our home January was a blur. We were quarantined for exposure to Covid-19 at the beginning of the month then I was diagnosed with Covid-19. As most of you know we have done everything to keep from getting this and especially to keep Phil from getting it. It was a rough time but thankfully God helped me through it🙌🙌🙌Phil helped me so much by bringing things I needed to the door. He is the best!!!

We have been having Bible study for the grandkids on Wednesday evenings. This has been such a blessing. I wanted to share one we taught on December 30th that I think was the cutest. During these times I thought a fitting bible lesson would be on the children of Israel. I had a large piece of cardboard and wanted to teach them about Moses and The parting of the Red Sea.

They love to paint so I printed some fish and cut them out, put them in the blue sides of the cardboard and they painted them. Israel even painted himself. 😂

I grabbed a gray wig and glasses and let them each be Moses. These short videos show how much they loved it.

Beckett was Moses
Eden was Moses
Nova was Moses

We then made a “Red Sea” snack. With graham crackers, blue icing and Teddy grahams representing the Israelites.

These little ones are watching us. I am so blessed to be able to have them come to our house to learn about the most important thing in life…Jesus. I may not have been the perfect mom but one thing I have tried my best to teach our children is about Jesus. Everything else will pass away but His word will not.

IT’S ALL ABOUT HIM!!!

I am…

Blessed Beyond Measures,

Cindy
