Of course I have been in the Christmas spirit for several weeks. Phil maybe not so much. I do think he loves it but just doesn’t want me to know how much. π€We have been watching some movies and even had a date night tonight to see the musical “Elf.” It was awesome especially since it is one of my favorite Christmas movies.
I plan to start decorating this week which makes me crazy happy. πβ€οΈ
FIRST…We have some praising & celebrating to do!!!
Our son Canaan and his family took a trip to Fort Stewart, Georgia to spend time with our youngest son and his new wife last weekend. On their way home Tuesday morning they were in an accident on 75. Let me tell you how my God works. Hind sights 20/20.
-A few days before they left Phil & Canaan put new breaks on the Jeep- (Phil not knowing they were driving it to GA since they have a car that is newer with less miles). When they said they were driving the Jeep I thought I hope it gets them there and back ok- It’s a long drive and I am the MOM…Mom’s worry. π¬
-They left Georgia Monday evening around 10:30pm to head back to Ohio. (Night traveling with babies are best)
– Around Knoxville Tuesday morning the air bag light came on in the Jeep- Canaan thought to himself I hope we don’t have an accident since the air bags aren’t working…
-30 minutes before the accident Canaan got extremely tired and asked Jaycee to drive. The sun was coming up and Jaycee put the bar up on Israel’s Car seat and pulled the shade to keep the sun out of his eyes.
-Canaan grabbed a pillow and fell asleep against the passenger window.
As Jaycee was driving North bound
-in morning traffic
– in the center lane
-on I-75
a full size dodge pick up merging onto 75 hit black Ice and lost control of his vehicle plowing into the passenger side of Canaan & Jaycee’s vehicle-inches from Canaan & Israel- causing their vehicle to spin and hit the concrete wall in the median and continued to spin back across the 3 lanes to rest against a guard rail. Busting out windows and totaling their Jeep but NO injuries to any involved. ππΌππΌππΌ
Now we see answers to things that happened…
-If Canaan was driving he may have over corrected and caused the vehicle to flip (Jeeps are notorious for this)
-Had the side air bag went off it could have broken Canaans neck where he was lying against it.
– the sun shield protected the glass from injuring Baby Israel.
God had his hand on them through every mile. This Mom and Dad were up several times thru the night and whispered their names to God in prayers for protection. ππ»

In just a few hours we will be celebrating Baby Israel’s 1st Birthday. π
Thank you Jesus for protection and provisions for me and my family everyday of our lives.
It’s time to…
ππΌππΌππΌpraise
πππππcelebrate &
πππdecorate!!!
This week I am truly…
Blessed Beyond Measures,
Cindy

Cindy God is so good. Iβm so glad your family is safe. Itβs so amazing how God is in all the details and that He lives us so much to take the time to orchestrate all the little things just to take of us.
