Still Thanking Him

Good Evening,

If you are anything like me the shooting that took place in Texas last Sunday has been on your mind alot this week.  I can’t even imagine how those people are feeling today.  Things that happen at times are hard to understand and I am sure this has been one of the hardest trials those people have ever walked.  I rest assured knowing that God has them cradled up in his arms and they are more focused on heaven and the family reunion then ever before.   Let’s continue to lift all of them to Christ knowing he always has a plan.

I finally started pulling out some of my Christmas decorations and putting up a few things.  It takes me several weeks to get it finished and my goal is to be done before Thanksgiving.  I won’t turn on all the outside lights until then so not to offend my neighbors.  I have seen so many posts on facebook putting down people who start celebrating this wonderful season early.  I don’t really understand this but feel if they don’t want to read my posts or see my decorations until December then hide me.  This world thru social media has turned it up a notch on people degrading and saying hurtful things.  I choose to try and focus on the good things.  Do I always…nope I’m not perfect that’s why I said I try to.  God made good in everyone sometimes it’s just harder to see.

I bought the item I am giving away for the Christmas drawing a few weeks ago at a country store near me.  I love it & I hope you all will.  It can be used year round which is always a plus.  Tonight I will finally reveal it………

God has been very good to me and I thank him often but the Thanksgiving holiday is a special day to reflect on all of our blessings thru out the year. I am still Thanking him, for not just the big things, but the little things too.  Strive to be more thankful today then you were yesterday.
