Spring is in the air here in Ohio. For some reason this Easter seems much more to me than ever. The scenes of spring in my home seem to expel a Happy approach to the season.
I haven’t put up all my items that I had taken down from the winter decorating. I am working a bit slower to move things in areas that I usually have them. I have come to realize everything doesn’t have to be completed in one day.
I threw some spring flowers in my vases and put some colorful pillows out to bring in the pastel colors of spring.

I even decided to go all out with my Easter Dinner table. I absolutely love how it turned out. It felt so special to have dinner this way with our family. We have our children that live close and our parents over every Sunday and rarely all eat at the same table except for special occasions. Easter was exactly that this year.
We enjoyed a wonderful Dinner of the usuals-Ham, baked beans, Paula Dean Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Yeast Rolls and lots of desserts.
Sunday dinners with family are the best…

As some of you know Phil was able to retire on my birthday after 40 years of working at GE. What a blessing that has been to me. The kids and I surprised him with dinner at “The Porch” in Hillsboro. Since Eli was unable to attend we FaceTimed him so he could be a part of it.

I have told everyone that I half retired. I continue to be a Nurse and a Realtor but he really helps me around the house. Doing laundry, making supper and anything else that is needed. God sure blessed me good when he gave me this man. He does little things around the house that i have put on the back burner. He keeps telling me you don’t have to work all the time you are allowed to rest so I have been doing just that…resting more.
I am truly
